Floor connection panels are a modern solution for power and data supply in office buildings, workspaces, and commercial properties. Instead of complex floor boxes or permanently installed systems, floor connection panels enable flexible, modular, and future-proof distribution of power and network connections – exactly where they are needed.
This flexibility pays off particularly in open-plan offices, co-working spaces, or in frequently changing workplace situations (e.g., through desk sharing). Once installed, power and data connections can be led directly to the workstation without any subsequent reconstruction work.
Underfloor connection solutions based on the MUTO concept
The floor connection panels are installed according to the proven MUTO concept (Multi User Terminal Outlet). This means: A so-called Consolidation Point is centrally connected to the floor distributor and supplies several workstations simultaneously. The advantage lies in the central structure, which enables simpler network cabling and power distribution in the building.
From the Consolidation Point, further distribution takes place via floor outlets directly to the respective workstation position. The underfloor connections can be expanded as required with suitable desk connection panels or power strips, ensuring a seamless supply of power, internet, and media.
Modular & Configurable – suitable for any environment
The power connections are based on proven connector systems such as Wieland Gesis GST. Versions with Wago Winsta connector systems are also available upon request. The data connections can be individually equipped as custom modules – for example, with LAN, HDMI, USB, audio, VGA or other interfaces. Both the data and power supply units are preconfigured or individually configurable and are delivered ready for connection, which significantly simplifies planning and installation.
