Lockable Under-Desk Pen Drawer for the Desk
The APTO Ultra Pen, Large, with Lock, including a removable plastic insert, is an ultra-flat under-desk drawer made of powder-coated steel. It is mounted space-saving under the desktop and, with a width of 870 mm, provides ample storage for pens, documents and personal items. The removable plastic insert conveniently divides the interior into different compartments so that every item has its fixed place. Thanks to the integrated lock, sensitive documents and valuables can be stored securely.
The ball-bearing telescopic slide ensures smooth and quiet opening and closing. With a depth of only 186 mm, the drawer even fits under desks with a curved underside. The low construction height of only 32 or 43 mm does not restrict legroom. A non-slip rubber mat on the drawer bottom prevents items from sliding. Ideally suited for offices, home office workspaces, co-working spaces and conference rooms – everywhere order and security are required in the workplace.

Why is a lockable desk drawer indispensable in the office?
In modern office life, a tidy and secure workspace is crucial for productivity and well-being. The APTO Ultra Pen large under-desk drawer offers precisely this combination of organization and protection. With the integrated lock, confidential documents, valuables and personal items can be reliably protected from unauthorized access. Especially in open-plan offices, co-working spaces and conference rooms, where many people have access to workstations, a lockable under-desk storage solution is a sensible investment. The drawer is mounted under the tabletop and uses otherwise unused space without reducing the valuable working surface on the desk. This way pens, paperclips, USB sticks and notepads are always within reach and securely stored at the same time.
What are the advantages of the shallow design of the under-desk drawer?
The extremely flat construction of the APTO Ultra Pen drawer is one of its outstanding features. With an installation height of just 32 or 43 mm, the legroom under the desk is not restricted. This small depth of 186 mm also makes the pen drawer suitable for desks with curves, where conventional under-desk drawers do not fit. The 870 mm width still offers sufficient storage space for all work necessities. The ball-bearing telescopic slide enables smooth and quiet opening and closing of the drawer, which is particularly advantageous in quiet working environments. The powder-coated steel housing guarantees high durability and resistance to daily wear. The grip area is discreetly located in the drawer bottom so that the front remains completely smooth and visually appealing.
For which work environments is the pen drawer with lock suitable?
The versatile APTO under-desk drawer fits in almost any work environment. In traditional offices it brings order to the individual workstation and protects personal items. In the home office it creates additional storage without further limiting the often limited space in the study. Also in conference rooms and at meeting tables, the lockable drawer offers a practical way to keep pens and note-taking materials on hand. The removable plastic insert divides the interior functionally and can be easily removed if the entire drawer space needs to be used. The non-slip rubber mat at the bottom reliably prevents items from sliding when opening and closing. Combined with other APTO products, it forms a well-thought-out organization system for the entire workplace. Three color variants allow individual adaptation to existing furniture and room design.
