The patented Compulocks Ledge Slot adapter with Combination Lock MBPR14LDG01CL is a small security cable lock adapter designed exclusively for the MacBook Pro 14" model. To prevent theft of the laptop / notebook, the included adapter (called the lock slot) is firmly attached to the notebook by a screw. The mounting can be done on the sides of the notebook. Modifications to the notebook's casing or the use of glue or similar are not required. The security lock / combination lock is attached to the lock slot. The anti-theft protection does not affect the functionality of the laptop, especially when opening and closing the lid. The proprietary design requires no adhesive or modifications to the MacBook Pro 14 inch case to attach this custom ledge lock. The slim design of the ledge lock slot adapter blends seamlessly with the minimalist look of the MacBook and is very lightweight at less than 50g.
