The DM-RMC-SCALER-C provides an advanced one-box interface solution for a single display as part of a completeDigitalMedia system. It works like a DigitalMedia 8G+ receiver, video scaler and control interface. It provides a single HDMI output as well as Ethernet, USB HID, RS-232 and IR control ports. In addition to DigitalMedia 8G+, it is also compatible with HDBaseT and can be connected directly to a HDBaseT certified source. Thanks to the integrated scaling, the connected display can process any video resolution up to HD 1080p or WUXGA. Due to its compact, flat design, the DM-RMC-SCALER-C can be installed discreetly behind a flat screen or above a ceiling projector. It connects using a single CAT-type twisted-pair cable. DigitalMedia 8G+ technology has been developed using HDBaseT Alliance specifications to ensure compatibility with other HDBaseT certified products. Via the DigtialMedia 8G+ input, the DM-RMC-SCALER-C can be connected directly to an HDBaseT-compliant source without a DigitalMedia transmitter. The DM-RMC-SCALER-C has a single HDMI digital AV output for connection to a display or other device. The HDMI output can also handle DVI signals with a suitable adapter or interface cable. A single CAT cable connects theDM-RMC-SCALER-C to a DigitalMedia Switch or transmitter, or to an HDBaseT source.
