The smart things PoE Adapter 12W Lightning Power+Data Splitter (s26 L) supplies Apple iPads with a Lightning connector with both power and wired network data over a single Ethernet cable. The adapter converts IEEE 802.3af PoE voltage to 5 volts with a maximum continuous 12 watts and simultaneously provides a 10/100 Fast Ethernet connection via the Lightning connector. The range is up to 100 meters from the PoE switch or injector, so no additional power outlet is required on site. The plug-and-play design with a 90 cm connection cable enables easy installation.
The smart things s26 L is ideal for conference rooms using Zoom, Webex or Skype, for POS stations, kiosk systems, appointment schedulers and permanently mounted tablets. Wired data transmission via the Lightning connector provides higher network security compared to wireless connections.
