What is the VESA standard? What is it used for?
The VESA standard is a mounting standard for monitors/TVs on mounts. In order to reliably attach a monitor or TV to a TV mount, a VESA standard is needed. The VESA standard can usually be recognized by four threaded holes on the back of the TV. If the hole spacing of the display is identical to the VESA standard of the mount, the mount can be applied.
