Lockable Compact Under-Desk Drawer for the Workplace
The APTO Ultra Pen, Small, with Lock including a non-slip rubber mat is an ultra-flat under-desk drawer made of powder-coated steel. With a compact width of 425 mm, it is particularly suitable for narrow desks or as an additional storage solution alongside other attachments. Thanks to the integrated lock, sensitive documents, valuables and personal items can be stored securely against unauthorized access. The non-slip rubber mat in the drawer base reliably prevents items from sliding.
The ball-bearing telescopic slide enables smooth and quiet opening and closing. With a depth of only 186 mm, the drawer also fits under desks with an apron. The low construction height of just 32 or 43 mm does not restrict legroom. With this model, APTO by PJ Production offers a space-saving and secure solution for offices, home offices, co-working spaces and conference rooms – anywhere organization and security in the workplace are required.

Why is a lockable drawer under the desk useful?
In open office environments, co-working spaces and open-plan offices, the need for secure storage solutions directly at the workstation is increasing. The APTO Ultra Pen under-desk drawer, small, with an integrated lock offers exactly this possibility. Sensitive documents, personal valuables and confidential papers can be reliably protected from unauthorized access without the need for a separate cabinet or mobile pedestal. The drawer is mounted space-saving under the tabletop and uses unused space that would otherwise lie idle. With a compact width of only 425 mm, the pen drawer also fits under narrow desks or next to other attachments. The non-slip rubber mat at the bottom ensures that pens, USB sticks and paperclips do not slip when opening and closing.
What advantages does the ultra-flat design offer for everyday work?
The extremely flat construction of the APTO Ultra Pen drawer with a height of only 32 or 43 mm is one of its outstanding features. Legroom under the desk remains fully preserved, so even longer periods of seated work remain comfortable. The small depth of 186 mm also makes the lockable drawer suitable for curved desks where conventional under-desk drawers have no space. The ball-bearing telescopic slide ensures smooth and almost silent opening and closing, which is particularly advantageous in quiet working environments. The housing made of powder-coated steel guarantees high durability and robustness in daily use. The grip area is discreetly located in the drawer bottom, leaving the front completely smooth and visually appealing.
For which application areas is the small lockable pen drawer suitable?
The versatile under-desk drawer from APTO fits in almost any work environment. In private offices it protects personal items and creates additional storage space at the workplace. In the home office, the compact width is an ideal solution for narrow desks or writing desks. At meeting tables and in conference rooms the lockable drawer keeps pens, note materials and business cards safely at hand. In co-working spaces users particularly benefit from the integrated lock that protects personal belongings even with changing workstations. Mounting under the tabletop is uncomplicated and does not require any special tools. Three color variants in black, aluminium and white allow individual adaptation to the existing furniture. In combination with other APTO products, a well-thought-out and modular organizational system for the entire workplace is created.
