The RAM Mounts GDS Hardwire Charger RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V7CU reliably supplies compatible USB-C GDS vehicle mounts with power. The hardwire charger connects to the vehicle power source via the SAE connector and provides via the USB-C (male) output 5.42–9V DC at max. 2.5A. The wide input voltage range of 10–30V DC makes the RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V7CU universal for 12V and 24V vehicles.
Note: The RAM Mounts GDS Hardwire Charger with USB-C, SAE connector, 10–30V DC input (RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V7CU) does not support Power Delivery. For a PD version with 45W, RAM Mounts recommends the model RAM-GDS-CHARGE-V3C-3U. Use cases include transport logistics, field service, emergency services and industrial vehicle applications. Integrated protection circuits against overvoltage, short circuit and reverse polarity ensure long-term safe operation.
