The Bachmann BN PRO Metered + – 16xC13 / 8xCombo, 3.0 m CEE 16A/3p (BM0024745) is a professional Power Distribution Unit of the latest generation for demanding IT infrastructures. The combination of 16 C13 IEC outlets and 8 combo sockets (C13/C15/C19/C21) offers the ideal mix for powering servers, switches and larger IT devices simultaneously. The integrated metering function records per outlet current, voltage, reactive, apparent and active power as well as frequency and power factor. The integrated web server with two Ethernet interfaces (1x Gbit/s with PoE and 1x 10/100 Mbit/s) enables convenient remote access to all measurement data.
The hot-swap concept allows replacement of the controller and power supply during operation without interrupting the power supply. The 2.4" TFT color display clearly shows all relevant operational data. Up to 20 PDUs can be managed via a single IP address using the PDU grouping function. The Bachmann BN PRO Metered + is ideal for colocation environments, professional network cabinets and distributed server landscapes.

While servers and switches are often connected via C14 plugs to C13 outlets, higher-powered devices such as UPSs or storage systems require the larger C19 connectors. The Bachmann BN PRO Metered + with 16x C13 and 8x combo outlets (BM0024745) offers exactly this flexibility in a single PDU. The 16 C13 IEC sockets supply standard IT devices, while the 8 combo outlets can be used as C13, C15, C19, or C21 as needed. This combination reduces the number of PDUs required in the rack and simplifies cabling. What monitoring functions are available over the network?
The integrated web server of the Bachmann BN PRO Metered + enables full remote access to all measurements and configuration options via a clear web interface. Per outlet, current, voltage, active power, apparent power, reactive power, and the associated energy values, frequency, and power factor are recorded. SNMP support allows integration into established monitoring platforms such as Nagios, PRTG, or similar systems. Two physically separate Ethernet interfaces with 1x Gigabit (PoE-capable) and 1x 10/100 Mbit/s provide redundant network connectivity. Through PDU linking, up to 20 PDUs can be centrally managed via a single IP address. Additionally, up to ten external sensors can be connected via the RJ45 interface, for example to monitor ambient temperature and humidity.

In professional IT environments, any interruption of operation is critical. The Bachmann BN PRO Metered + addresses this by offering hot-swappable components. Both the controller and the power supply can be replaced while the unit is running, without interrupting the power to connected devices. The 2.4-inch TFT color display with rotatable orientation provides all important operational data directly on the device, while status LEDs at each outlet indicate the current state. The colored frames in blue and red allow quick distinction between A and B feeds. With vertical mounting as a 0U solution and dimensions of 1157 x 56 x 71 mm, the PDU does not occupy valuable rack space.
