The Bachmann BN PRO Metered + RCM – 24xCombo, 3.0 m CEE 16A/3p (BM0024747) combines precise per-outlet energy measurement with an integrated residual current measurement per phase (Type B). This RCM function detects fault/leakage currents early and thereby protects the entire IT infrastructure from potential hazards. With 24 combo outlets in C13/C15/C19/C21 format, the Bachmann PDU offers maximum flexibility for professional use in data centers and server rooms. The integrated measurement function records per outlet current, voltage, reactive, apparent and active power, as well as frequency and power factor. The integrated web server with two Ethernet interfaces (1x Gbit/s with PoE and 1x 10/100 Mbit/s) enables convenient remote access to all measurement data.
For maximum reliability, the controller and power supply can be exchanged during operation (hot-swap). The clear 2.4" TFT color display shows all relevant data at a glance. Via the PDU linking function, up to 20 PDUs can be managed under a single IP address. Fault currents in IT infrastructures can cause serious problems, from equipment damage to fire risk. The Bachmann BN PRO Metered + RCM with 24 combo outlets (BM0024747) offers, in addition to precise per-outlet measurement, an integrated differential current measurement per phase of Type B. This RCM function continuously monitors differential currents and detects both AC and DC fault currents. In modern data centers, where devices with switch-mode power supplies and frequency converters are increasingly used, Type B detection is particularly important because conventional Type A sensors cannot detect smooth DC fault currents. The 24 combo outlets in C13/C15/C19/C21 format provide maximum connection flexibility for a wide range of IT equipment. The single-phase input with 16 A and 230 V supplies up to 3.6 kW, while the 3.0 m supply cable with CEE 16A blue plug enables flexible positioning within the rack.
How does per-outlet energy monitoring work over the network?
The Bachmann BN PRO Metered + RCM records detailed measurements for each of the 24 outlets such as current, voltage, active power, apparent power, reactive power, active energy, apparent energy, reactive energy, frequency and power factor. All data can be viewed remotely via the integrated web server with web interface. Two physically separate Ethernet interfaces with 1x Gigabit (PoE-capable) and 1x 10/100 Mbit/s ensure redundant network connectivity. SNMP support enables integration into common monitoring systems. Through the PDU grouping, up to 20 PDUs can be centrally managed via a single IP address. An RJ45 interface allows connection of up to ten external sensors for temperature and humidity monitoring.
